Education & Outreach

The St. Peter Food Co-op is proud to be dedicated to our community by giving back in the forms of outreach and education. We feel it only makes sense since we are owned by the community! We provide education and outreach in the form of free classes on a wide variety of subjects, providing in-store fliers and brochures, coordinating demonstrations and events, participating in community activities, giving store tours, speaking engagements, and offering donations to help make our community stronger.

To enhance our commitment to consumer education, we also have a fully integrated health, food and lifestyle information kiosk called “Aisle 7”. It is designed to help customers easily investigate their health concerns, discover new products, and learn about simple dietary and lifestyle changes – all in one user-friendly resource.

Another way we provide support to our community is through our “Community Day” program in which we provide local organizations, businesses, and individuals the opportunity to bring awareness to and promote their services, products, and/or causes.

If you are interested in participating in Community Day or are interested in receiving a donation, please click on the appropriate link below and submit the application to the co-op.
